It is our mission at InterMedCorp to design assessments around the needs of our clients. We have conducted hundreds of assessment for single providers, group practices and hospitals. Our assessments have evaluated financial, operational and process efficiency. Our team of experienced professionals have developed training curriculum for hospitals, colleges and institutions.

Meet Our Team

Joanne Ortolan BA, MBA, RMM, CPC

Joanne Ortolan has almost 20 years experience in the Insurance, business operations and consulting fields. She was previously a consultant at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young and has a strong business and team leadership knowledge. Joanne had been sought after by several local teaching institutions to fulfill board memberships for national billing schools and committees. She is a Registered Medical Manager coding professional. She has consulted to various healthcare business entities and provides an invaluable physician perspective to the InterMedCorp. Joanne was instrumental in developing business and IT solutions at some of her former consulting agencies. Joanne's teams of professionals are some of the most sought after in the business.


Leonard Zuckerman, MD

Dr. Zuckerman is a board certified practicing Urologist who began his clinical career over 35 years ago. He has served as Medical Director of several companies, owns a highly successful healthcare practice. This experience has provided Dr. Zuckerman with a solid base of business knowledge that he can apply at InterMedCorp. Dr. Zuckerman brings a special knowledge and perspective on practice management and healthcare business operations missing from other companies. His well-respected career has demonstrated his commitment to the betterment in the area of healthcare management.


James Bist, BA

James Bist career has been highly involved in the financial sector of business. Mr. Bist founded his own consulting practice, focusing on financial systems implementation and financial best practices. Additionally, Mr Bist has lead multi million dollar project in the healthcare and manufacturing industries. Mr. Bist specializes in the auditing of systems from a technology and business prospective. He also has a specialty in the SAP software systems Implementation and project management methodologies. Mr Bist has worked with highly respected consulting firms such as Price Waterhouse and Deloitte Consulting groups, giving him a respected reputation in the industry. Mr. Bist's financial auditing expertise has been an invaluable asset to InterMedCorp and its clients.

Matt Russell, PMP, BS, MBA

Matt Russell joined the advisory board of InterMedCorp in 2002. Mr. Russell has had a successful career in the environmental health care and IT consulting fields, focusing on senior project management positions. He also previously founded his own consulting practice. His projects have been focused on environmental remediation, information technology, purchasing, and manufacturing processes. Matt has successfully lead multi-million dollar national and international projects. He has worked for or partnered with consulting firms in the past, such as Xede, Ajilon, and EDS. Mr Russell also served as the Global Account Manager for the DaimlerChrysler business at Covisint. Mr. Russells brings his keen business and project implementation knowledge to InterMedCorp by focusing on the operations management and internal procedures that are in place at our clients. His team specializes in process design and project management methodologies.


Marc Groder, MBA

Marc Groder careers in Information Technology management has spanned over 12 years. His project experience includes multi disciplinary project leads in the healthcare, manufacturing and government industries. Mr. Groder leads a highly trained information technology team which specializes in the customization on web based project and specialty reporting. Mr. Groder also serves on the board of other information technology companies and associations such as CBT Consulting, a business management group. His considerable information technology management experience contributes greatly to InterMedCorp.
